VOCO Profluorid Varnish is a colophony-based varnish containing 5 % sodium fluoride (22,600 ppm). The fluoride and calcium ions accumulated in the tubules cause precipitation of calcium fluoride, which effectively seals the tubules. According to a user survey, over 85 % of patients were completely free of pain after only one treatment with VOCO Profluorid Varnish.
