I started work at dhb in October 2002 and have seen a few changes since then!

I still enjoy the everyday challenges of running the business and after all this time it’s like family now.

I oversee the teams here and the warehouse in Kent where we aspire to the highest customer service within a fun environment. I think work/life balance is really important and have recently implemented a four day week in the office.

We have a family Pet shop business along with 2 dogs, Koi fish and 150 pigeons (Long story!) Enjoy eating out, too much!  and being with family.

I joined dhb in 2008 as part of the sales team, after a couple of years I started working with purchasing and marketing and now I am General Manager, looking after the sales team and assisting the warehouse along with the daily running of company.

Outside of work I often spend my time walking with my husband and chocolate Labrador Roxi, when I am not in my wellies you can find me spending time with my family and friends or catching up on the soaps!

I joined dhb back in 2013 as an Account Manager; this was a huge change for me as my previous job was in hairdressing. When I started dhb I was extremely nervous, very shy as this was a whole new adventure for me, but before I knew it I it soon felt like family. I loved speaking to customers over the phone and helping them with their enquiries.

In my first year here I found that I enjoyed helping my team and customers to make sure everyone was happy. Due to this we decided my job role should be more in customer service to deal with returns invoicing and to generally helping my team which seemed to suit me better. I still tend to help with sales from time to time as I still like to keep my hand in.

During my spare time, I enjoy spending it with family and friends, including our newest member to Maggie, our French bulldog.

I joined dhb in 2006 as an Account Manager after graduating in Business Management at Southampton where I met my wife/mother to our two kids Louie and Jamie. Being one of the longest serving members of staff here at dhb I try to pass my experience and product knowledge to my peers and use these skills to provide the best possible customer care to my accounts. I like to see each of my customers as individuals and that is the part of the job I enjoy most, I am a very sociable person and love getting to know new people.

When not at work I will be enjoying life with my family. We will often be found at local National Trust places exploring and trying new things. My other interests include anything to do with football, spending time in the garden either with a beer or gardening equipment in hand, watching terrible TV and listening to music.

I have worked for DHB for 12 years.  Working in a sales environment I enjoy the buzz and fast pace, this enables me to show passion and enthusiasm in building rapports and maintaining relationships with all clients.  I consider myself to be a valued member of the DHB dedicated team. 

Outside of work I like to keep fit, enjoys spending any spare time with friends and family.  I also like listening to various genres of music and regularly attend concerts and club nights.

As a Telephone Account Manager I believe in meeting my accounts needs and expectations and making their experience with DHB of the highest quality of service. With me being a sociable person I love the relationships I have with my accounts over the years which is what makes working for DHB so special.

In my own time outside of work- I love being with my family and friends and enjoying time with my son Jaxon watching him grow and amaze me every day. I love playing sports, going out with friends to events/parties with the love of prosecco involved haha, watching films and love my holidays and seeing the world.

I joined the team back in April 2012 as an account manager. Having trained as a hairdresser this was a huge change to me but I was ready for the challenge. I love working with my amazing colleagues here at DHB.

I like to give my customers the best service possible so they come back to me every week, even if is just for a chat. I have made great some relationships along the way treating many of them as friends.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter Belle she takes up most of my time, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love spending time with my family and friends, watching films and going to the Theatre.

I Joined the DHB Team in 2016. As a dedicated account manager I take pride in everything I do and I aim to help and making sure each and every account is well looked after.

I provide a happy and upbeat atmosphere in the office and will always help my colleagues where possible.

When I’m not in the office, you will find me enjoying time with my fiancée. I enjoy a good TV series!

And I also enjoy a good movie and love the cinema experience. I also ride a motorbike and at times I wish I didn’t (especially when it’s raining). I have been riding for 6 years. I also enjoy cooking and love creating new dishes and experimenting with flavours. My goal in life is to win the lottery. No luck so far. Lastly I can’t wait for the day I start my own family.

A bit about myself, I love having a laugh and so meeting up with friends and just having a good laugh is my idea of fun, as my colleagues would tell you I try not to take life too seriously much to the annoyance of my managers at times :) (as I always say a life without laughter isn’t a life worth having)!

I have a passion for Sports, football is a big part of my life and unfortunately I’m a Manchester United supporter which used to be brilliant but over the last few years has become more of a chore and I used to play weekly until a accident where I had to have surgery and so now am just a supporter! My other passion is for Golf where I represented and Captained Guildford at Junior level and still find time to play when the weather is good enough and still manage to play to a handicap of 6 although this is slowly creeping up!

I joined DHB over 14 years ago and currently have the responsibility of Warehouse Supervisor, feeling like a dedicated member of the DHB team. I appreciate working for such a values led organisation and truly feel part of the DHB family.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my little one and family, going out shopping and visiting gardens, nurseries.
